John-Anthony (Jay) Boggess

He earned a bachelor’s of Art degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Masters of Education from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Boggess is a devout family man. He and his wife have five beautiful children who are being educated in the Palm Beach County School District.

Curt Brown, CFM

Curt was a long-time member of the Alumni Board at Palm Beach Atlantic University and has coached youth soccer, baseball, and basketball for the last fifteen years. Curt resides in Royal Palm Beach with his wife, Denise, and their three sons. They currently attend Life Church Wellington.

Kent Frazer

Kent grew up in Vero Beach, Florida playing football and lacrosse, and has lived and practiced law in Palm Beach County for almost 20 years. Kent is the owner and managing attorney of The Frazer Firm, P.A., a business litigation and business law firm located in Jupiter that focuses solely on protecting the interests of small and medium sized companies and their owners. Kent and his wife, Erika, live in Palm Beach Gardens with their children, Jackson (11) and Quinn (8). He is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County and is active in the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce. Kent serves and worships with his family at the Palm Beach Gardens campus of Christ Fellowship.

Matt Kearce grew up in the Panhandle of Florida, but has lived in South Florida since 2002. He has been married to his lovely bride Christy (also an athlete, played tennis at Samford University) for 19 years and they have two children C.J. and Brady, ages 15 and 13. Matt played all sports growing up, football and baseball through high school. Upon graduation he accepted a baseball scholarship to Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL. After Junior College he transferred to West Georgia (Carrollton, GA) where he played his last two years of college baseball. Ultimately he earned his Finance Degree at Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Currently, Matt, Christy and the boys live in Palm Beach Gardens and attend Family Church at the Gardens Campus.

Jon Maples, CLTC, RICP®

Jon graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. During his collegiate basketball career at PBA Jon lead the team as a captain and received All American honors. For the past 10 years, Jon, and his team has built a financial practice from the ground up in Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and he continues to further his education by receiving the Retirement Income Certified Professional and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. Jon along with his beautiful wife Kristi and their daughter, Bella, currently reside in Lake Clarke Shores, Florida. Community involvement is an important component of Jon’s personal and professional life. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Jon enjoys CrossFit, cigars and reading.

John Melhorn is a partner in an architectural design-build construction firm based in Jupiter, Florida. Their company caters to the custom residential market in and around Palm Beach County. John attended the University of Miami where he earned his Bachelors of Architecture and having worked in New York, Miami, and Palm Beach for various architecture firms, he established his own practice, which over the last ten years has grown and merged into its current form. John and his wife Julie are both born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. They and their three children are faithful members of Family Church Downtown and enjoy being involved and giving their time to many of the worthy causes in the local community.

Steve has been actively engaged in the practice of wealth management, financial planning for almost 30 years. Steve is a Senior Vice President with UBS and serves as the pastor of Family Church Jupiter. Steve currently serves as the chairman of the board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Palm Beach County and is a trustee of Palm Beach Atlantic University. Steve is married to his college sweetheart, Apryl and they have three daughters Hannah – Abby and Emma.

Shawn graduated from Liberty University and was drafted to play professional baseball. He enjoyed a 6-year career with the Detroit Tigers and New York Mets while completing his MBA. Shawn and his team at Sykon Capital focus on financial planning and investment management for families, foundations and endowments locally and across the country. They currently have offices in Jupiter, FL and Harrison, NY. He is the son of Tim Teufel, 1986 New York Mets World Series Champion. Shawn and his wife Julie live in Palm Beach Gardens with their three daughters, Reese, Halle, and Lowen who attend Jupiter Christian School. They attend Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens and enjoy supporting and giving their time to other organizations in the community.
